As a college student, the volunteering at Sakapala Community Centre will gain different perspectives, be inspired to learn about new cultures, languages and ways of life which in returns positively change the way you see the world. You will also have a profound impact not only on you, but also the community you’re from. At Sakapala Community Centre, college students can participate on a diverse range of meaningful Service-Learning projects which will positively impact, improve and empower communities surrounding Sakapala Community Centre, Located in Mtoni Kijichi, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, East Africa.
- All volunteers are required to have adequate volunteer travel insurance.
- All volunteers are required to provide a Program Fees starting at just $280 for one week, includes accommodation, breakfast and lunch, airport pick up, orientation and in country support.
- Volunteers will receive Certificate of Volunteering from Sakapala Community Centre.
- Volunteers will receive discounts on Swahili lessons.
- A program fee will not cover visa, flights, travel insurance (mandatory), vaccinations, criminal background check, dinner, public transport to and from your placement each day and return to the airport when your program finishes.
