David Bitaho

David Bitaho is a dedicated Program Officer at the Sakapala Community Centre and a student of Actuarial Science at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). Combining his strong analytical background with a passion for community development, David leads SCC’s digital skills training initiatives, equipping youth with essential 21st-century competencies.

In addition to managing various community programs, David plays a pivotal role in building and maintaining global partnerships that expand SCC’s reach and impact. His leadership fosters cross-cultural collaboration and resource sharing, which is vital for sustainable growth.

David is also a recognized Circular Economy Fellow through the U.S. Embassy in Tanzania and the Huduma Development Foundation (HUDEFO). In this role, he champions innovative, sustainable solutions that align economic development with environmental stewardship, integrating these principles into SCC’s programs to empower communities holistically.
